Youth ministry at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish is open to all youth in grades 6-12. The parish offers a year-round program, combining fellowship, formation, and fun!

From September thru the end of May, weekly sessions are held for all grades, providing positive role models for younger students, and opportunities to build leadership in older youth. Trained Youth Ministers lead discussion in church teachings as well as discussion on topics relevant to the youth. Source material for these sessions include the Bible, “Catholic Connections”, “Catholic Faith Handbook”, and the “YOUCAT” texts. We also incorporate online programs on contemporary topics and current events, in order to keep our offerings relevant to the spiritual needs of our youth.

Fellowship, Formation, and Fun!

Youth Programs at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish are designed to provide a fun and supportive environment for youth to learn about their faith and how to put it in action in today's world. We help our youth to learn about their faith, develop strong Catholic values, and to gain the confidence and courage to live it out in their daily lives!

Past programs have included study of church documents related to the recent changes to the Roman Missal, the “Year of Faith” announcement, and Future Full of Hope, the program that led to the founding of Our Lady of Czestochowa as a parish. We also follow with great interest recent teachings by Pope Francis, who has captivated the attention and excitement of our youth!

During the summer months, the parish holds an eight week block of instruction focusing on Theology of the Body and The T-3 Bible Study for any youth interested. There is also intense focus and discussion on Social Justice issues. Family friendly activities help keep things fun and engaging!
